Clarity Support

A little help, when you need it.

Email jaypoole98@outlook.com for support or privacy questions.

Include your device model, iOS version, Clarity version, and a description of what happened. Please leave out financial records, passwords, and other sensitive information.

Getting started

Enter a display name and monthly budget, then add expenses with the + button on Home. No Clarity account or bank connection is needed.

Calendar and recurring expenses

Tap the This Month card on Home to open the Expense Calendar. Select a date to see recorded expenses and expected monthly charges. Expected charges are estimates based on your entries; they are not payments or saved transactions and do not increase your spending totals.

Editing your history

Open Transactions and tap an expense to edit it. Swipe to delete on iPhone. Use Add Progress on a goal to add an amount to your saved progress, or Edit to correct its total.

iCloud and offline use

Use the same Apple Account and enable iCloud for Clarity on your devices. Check Settings in Clarity for iCloud availability. Sync may take time and requires an internet connection. You can continue entering expenses offline. Do not uninstall the app as a troubleshooting step unless you have verified your data is safely available elsewhere.

App lock

Enable Require device authentication in Settings to protect access with Face ID, Touch ID, or your device passcode/password. If a biometric attempt fails, use the system’s passcode or password option.
